§  Christina Judith Perri is an American singer-songwriter from Philadelphia and she has become famous due to her song ‘Jar of Hearts’ in 2010. The song became so famous that they even used in the programme Glee.  The song is about her heartbreak over divorcing her husband after 18 months.

§  In 2011 she recorded the song ‘A thousand Years’ for the movie breaking dawn and the song is now on the accompanying soundtrack for part 1 and for part 2. When she is singing this song she has included clips from the movie so you can tell that the song and film have a connection. 

§  Sin 2007 she was picked up by Atlantic records which continued to get the song radio play and she later on released an album with both these included and since then she has been on tour. The title of the album is called ‘lovestrong’ and was released on 10^th May 2011.
