When it came to my music video I knew that the most important part was the actress as when I have looked at professional music videos it is the actress/singer who is giving the performance and we feel what she feels. I look specifically at Avril Lavigne’s wish you were here as she portrays strong emotions in her music video and it is all down to her to makes us feel how she wants us to feel. I did not want my music video to be let due to the lack of acting so I found someone who I fought would be able to portray these emotions really well.
Mariem A
Mariem is also a media student and I felt she would be able to portray the emotions that I wanted her to. As well as she herself know how important it was as she had to make one as well and I knew that she would give it her all. As well as that with her living in London as well it means that it made the filming process easier.
When it comes to my song I felt that the emotions were really important so it was all about getting her to portray them really well. As well as this I knew that she would know the lyrics really well as she had got to know the tune of the song. This would then make the lip syncing easier for me. Mariem would be perfect for the role because she has the face that suits the type of song.
