A music video is a short film or video which accompanies music and sometimes there is a narrative to go with the music. The main use of music videos is to promote the song which is sung by an artist. This helps the artist sell more CDs and some times they put their music on iTunes so that everyone can download it. A wide range of styles of filming  are used in music styles. For example some include animation, live action filming, documentaries and non- narrative. However some music videos do have 2 styles such as animations and live action.
