Actions for that lesson:  Look at the rise of directors and choose two which I want to go into further detail too. Back this up by looking at example of their work. Look into the work of MTV and look at channels in which you want your music video to be played on. Look at the different types of music videos so that I can see what type I want to make.

Homework: Finish this work so that it can be uploaded onto the website once it has been marked and I have done the changes.

Actions for that lesson: Start looking at planning you music video and do some in depth research about the music video industry and define what actually is a music video so when I plan mine I know what I need to include.

Homework: Finish the work about research and start planning mine so I need to look into locations for my music video.

Actions for that lesson: Look at the case studies which will help when I start planning my music video and look at the target audience that I will be attracting when I do mine.

Homework:  Look at the influence that YouTube has on new found artists and find example where YouTube has played a part in a person career.  Start looking at the lyrics for the song and print them out.

Actions for that lesson: Upload all the work up onto wix and I started to link up wix. I deconstructed my lyrics and for each sentence I tried to find a music video which could relate to that sentence.

Homework: Continue to add the work to wix and link it up.

Actions for that lesson:  Create a montage so I needed to download the videos I wanted to use and I cut them to the lyrics that I wanted and I placed them on a timeline on premiere pro. Place my song over the top.  Contact artist that I want to use in my music video and use information to explain the artist you are using.

Homework: Do a storyboard to my music video and then create an animatic and upload these to the website.

Actions for that lesson: Create a props list of the equipment that I am going to use and all the accessories that I will be using. Create a shot list of all the shots that I will be filming and where I will be filming.

Homework: Finish shot list and prop list and upload them.

Date: 22^nd October 2012 (October Half term)

Actions for that lesson: Create health and safety list and help the others film there music video and research into Richard Dyer and explain his theory.

Homework: Upload work and start preparations for my video.

Actions for that lesson: Film my music video making sure I get all the shots that I want to use within the time I have got.

Homework: Take photos of filming and artist so that I can use them when it comes to the print tasks.

Actions for that lesson: Start analysis of posters and CD covers so that I can make sure that mine fit into the theme of the music video. I had to make sure that this was supported by examples of other artists.

Homework: Finish off the analysis and put it onto website.

Date: 31^st October 2012

Actions for that lesson: Music videos are put onto our laptops so in this lesson I looked through all of the clips and noted down the clips I wanted to use.

Homework: Carry on looking at clips.
