1960's
This is when companies would give small films some money to support the music especially when the band’s couldn't .Around this time they had started to use choreography and they started to make the music videos more attractive paying more attention to props and mise en scene. When artist/bands could not make a show they would put dancers on to cover the time. There was a group called ‘Pan People’ and this was the first group to do choreography dance and since then it has became a trend.
1970's
In the 1970s, new media outlets meant that it brought people together from different culture and audiences. Rock music then expanded and new genres of music were found which includes music from the Reggae, Heavy Metal and Hip hop. This means that people were listening to new types of music showing the emergence of hybrid music.
1980's
Music introduced a new wave glam metal, teen pop. They also used to put keyboard notes to popular music so that it got a bit of rhythm. These years where music videos could be seen by the public as they were shown on the TV by MTV. They also brought out the compact discs so that people could buy them.
