Hype has created so many music videos for all different types of artists. Some examples are:  Kayne West (Heartless and Gold digger) , Jay Z (Big Pimpin), Christiana Aguilera ( Not myself tonight) and cold play (viva la vida). He has also worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Ne-Yo. He won an award for the best director for the music video ‘Gold digger’. In 2006 Hype Williams was honored by MTV with the award of Video Vanguard Award. This was given to him in honour of his achievements as a film maker and music director.

He used to have many styles that have changed over the years. The first style that he used was the fisheye lens which disorted the camera view around the central focus. Another style he had was placing shots in r3egular widescreen ratio while the seceond shot is split and placed in the upper and lower bars. This can be seen in the music video he shot for Ne-Yo ‘So sick’

In 2012 it was said that Kayne West has worked with Hype the most times. They collaborated for 19 music videos. The first one being shot in 2005 for the video of ‘Diamonds of Seirra Leone’.
