Spike Jonze filmed himself dancing to Fatboy slim’s song called ‘Praise you’. This was then played on a boom box in a public area. This video was then shown to slim himself and he loved the idea. Jonze then got a group of dancers to preform the song outside one of California’s movie theatre which he then taped. The clip was a huge success and the video received awards for best direction, breakthrough and best choreography.

He has also worked with Kayne West on his song called ‘Flashing lights’ and he also produced another one of his songs which featured Jay Z called ‘otis’ . He has produced a lot of music videos for a range of artists and the last one he did was in 2011 which happens to be ‘otis’. Since then he has decided that he wanted to go into films so he has produced films as well.
