Question 4

Audience feedback became a lot easier with collecting feedback via social media as it was instant and easier. Even if I did a paper questionnaire and did audience feedback, I noticed that the electronic whiteboard in the classroom was a great way to collect feedback. Before the proliferation of such technologies, a film screening would only have to be done on the big screen only if you had the budget to do so. On Facebook and YouTube, I was able to share my video with a wider audience and demographics where I received instant feedback, which helped me a lot during the evaluation stages of my work.

In fact it is online tutorials that have allowed me to master my skills in using Adobe Premiere Pro and photoshop. I have received training in school but the fact that I could always go to YouTube or browse tutorials on the web enabled me to plan, revise and review my ideas. These things have become possible once again because of web 2.0.

To conclude, I believe that it is down to technologies today that film making has become more realisable as the proliferation of hardware and its accessibility for domestic use has now opened new doors for young aspiring film makers like me to get a break in the industry.
