Question 2

To keep to this stereotype of sensitivity and femininity as seen in the music video, I decided to choose an italics font ‘Kunstler Script’ the album name ‘Love ain’t been easy’ and the name of the artist was written in a straight font ‘Orator std’ which was spaced out between the letters to emphasise on her simplicity that is the unique selling point in her style. As there are too many artists who copy each other’s style for example Lady Gaga imitating Madonna a lot, I decided that as the song is slow and emotional and giving her a simple style would appeal to her target audience.  The same fonts were used in the magazine advert to keep to this level of continuity.

Gaga imitating and using Madonna's sense of style. From this pictures you can see she has copied her style and now using it as part of promotion.

The text I used for my promotional products was Orator std and Kinstler Script.

My artist in the video comes across as classy and elegant even if I decided to dress her mainly in casual clothes so that the mass audience could relate to her.  To elaborate on this idea, the back cover of the digipak looks like a photo frame with the title tracks in the centre.  I thought this idea referred to the shabby chic style which she represents and the elaborate design of the frame could represent her emotional turmoil. Equally it is unique and appealing to the target audience.
